Winter Wipeout 2026
The 2026 Winter Wipeout is the fourth edition of event and offers four rounds of Blood Bowl fun in picturesque Porvoo!

Registration
Register for the event by paying the event entry fee in the PGC Holvi store. Please fill the NAF nick and number fields when registering if you’re a NAF member. Also, please enter your full contact details (name, phone number and email) for smooth communication. Event info will be sent by email to all participants.
Registration closes on Friday 4.12.2026. at 18:00. Max. capacity is 20 players due to venue limitations.
A registration is final once the entry fee has been paid. Registrations are taken on a first come first served basis. Entry fee is 15€, or 5€ for PGC members. (PGC members can ask for a discount code from the organizer.)
Refunds & Waitlist
Entry fee is non-refundable but you can pass/sell your spot to someone else. Switching the registrant can be done by the original registrant. He/she should send an email to info@porvoogameclub.fi.
The event will be held if a minimum of 6 players participate. (But the prices will be reviewed in that case though.)
If the event is full, you can sign up for the waiting list by sending an email to info@porvoogameclub.fi. Please use “Winter Wipeout 2026 Waitlist” as the title.

At least the tournament champion, runner up, and the best painted team will be awarded.
The Winter Wipeout is an annual event with a fundraiser mentality. All proceeds from the event will be used for the maintenance and development of Porvoo Game Club activities. By signing up you support our small gaming club ran by volunteers! 🙂
Location
The venue is the PGC club house, located close to the Porvoo town center. The address is Aleksanterinkatu 22, Porvoo. Check the PGC website for an image guide. The space is only a few blocks away from the market square, where the buses from Helsinki and elsewhere arrive. There are plenty of shops & restaurants close by and usually there’s also a Christmas market at the market square on the same weekend. Despite the location there’s plenty of free street parking available close to the club. The club has a toilet, small kitchen with basic equipment, including a fridge, coffee maker and a microwave oven. Coffee and tea with milk & oat drink is available for free for the participants. BYOB.
What to bring with you to the event
– Models for your team. They don’t have to be official GW miniatures but different positions should be clearly defined, and special skills should be marked on the models.
– Dice, templates, ball, tokens for turn, re-rolls & score, and a board. (The host likely can’t supply enough boards for everyone.)
– Chess clock (or a chess clock app on your phone)
– Dice cup, tray or tower – These are not only permitted but encouraged!
– Recommended: Team roster sheet (printed, with all necessary info included)
Roster submission
Rosters must be submitted via Tourplay by Wednesday, 2.12.2026. Link to the Tourplay event will be provided later, once established. Except late registrations that arrive after 2.12.2026.
Rosters will be published on Saturday morning, 5.12.2026., at the latest. Possibly earlier, if all rosters have been submitted.

Win = 3 points
Draw = 1 point
Lose = 0 points
Bye round or forced rest = 3 points

Timekeeping
– With a tight tournament schedule a chess clock or similar for timekeeping must be used. (Players must bring their own chess clock or use a chess clock application on their mobile device.)
– After you’ve completed the pregame introductions of your teams etc. divide the remaining hours and minutes (rounding down) by 2 and assign half of the game time to each player.
– Chess clocks can only be paused by a referee.
– Should a Coach’s time run out on the chess clock, during their turn, that Coach can only stand-up Players and turn stunned Players to the prone position.
– If a Coach suspects that their opponent is wasting time, they are to call a referee immediately.
– If a Coach is late from the game, the delay time is deducted from their half of the game time. (Opponent divides the game time and starts the chess clock.)
Games that run out of time
At the end of the time allotted to each round, no more dice will be rolled. Coaches are allowed but not required to agree to what would have probably been the most likely result. If they do not, the result on the pitch at the end of the time will be final.
Pre-match talks
Coaches are required to talk to their opponent before the start of the match explaining any play conventions they are using during the game, especially on topics like:
– How you roll dice, when a dice is cocked and how you will reroll it;
– What constitutes an acceptable takeback of an action;
– What kind of tokens they will be using and what for (prone big guys, etc).
– Your team’s game pieces with their positions, skills and markings.
– If one of the two Coaches facing off requests that one dice pool is used this must be done.
