Travel Planning

Planning to travel for Blood Bowl? Here are a few resources you should check to optimize your trip.

Checklist and things to consider

Traveling is rough, so instead of getting yourself close to venue the day before and leaving right after the tournament, travel smart. Have a travel day, and day to relax after. Have a day to see the sights, visit local gamers and just relax after a day to travel. Same goes for the return trip. Stay a while and spend time with locals and I bet you will have a good time. You will build a friendship among the community, you can avoid going to tourist traps and actually you will honestly have a more deeper connection to the location from the local foods and customs enriching your overall experience!

Wait, it is not just me?

If you have a looong weekends, lets say from thursday to thuesday to spend for your trip and you have couple buddies (1+) with you. If you travel plan would consist of taking a train from place A to place B to get close to venue. You should consider renting a car. It is more than likely that the car rent for the whole duration of the trip will be cheaper than your train rides. You can visit the sights and Venue (maybe) easier, and on top of that you can move around more freely. Depending on the area you are traveling to, the car rental can be really cheap, even with buying gas, and more the merrier traveling closer to your flights back home.

There are quite a few car rental companies that give discounts, so you should check them before traveling. To book a car ready for you when you arrive to destination.
